Thanks for stopping by and looking at my work. Here’s a bit more background information about me.
I have been working as a designer since graduating in design and visual communication in 1988. With 35 years of industry experience I have worked on a huge variety of projects for clients of all shapes and sizes, across a hugely diverse range of business sectors.
The bulk of my experience over the last 20 years has been in corporate and financial reporting and stakeholder communications. The majority of projects I've been involved with have been print-based, typically annual reports and corporate sustainability/ESG reports. Other work has included editorial design and art direction, infographics and branding.
I have worked with project management teams, print and production departments, editors, copywriters, proofreaders and web developers – as well as numerous photographers and illustrators. I have art-directed photoshoots, supervised design teams and written, delivered and presented project proposals and stakeholder presentations.
As well as serving my own clients I regularly work on a freelance/contract basis on corporate communications, editorial and branding projects with a number of London design agencies. My current day-to-day work involves liaising with clients, designers and project managers, generating and presenting concept work, commissioning photography and illustration, preparing and overseeing final artwork and writing and building presentations.
Recently I have worked with Salterbaxter, Superunion, Carr Kamasa Design, Rebellion, Ruder Finn and Em-Project.
I am fully fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and After Effects) as well as Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Figma.
Oh, and I play guitar in a covers band – available for weddings, parties and various other functions!
